Book Synopsis:
My Review:
5 out of 5
I have always loved animals and I have taught my children to do the same. So the glow-stone series are perfect for me. Not only are they enjoyable stories that my children love, but they are also educational and informative. These stories teach our children to love and look after nature and I LOVE that. My girls particularly enjoyed this story about the bear with bad hair, they saw his vanity almost immediately and identified it as a ‘not nice’ quality. Of course, throughout the story the bear learns an important lesson, that friends and love is far more important than what you look like. I think this is a fantastic moral to teach our children.
Once again Nick, you have created a story my children loved reading, it made them laugh, they related to the characters and they’ve completely bought into the world you have created.
We highly recommend this story.
Perfect for children (I’d give an age range of 4-12) who enjoy:
- Funny Tales
- Stories about animals and the environment
- Relatable and funny characters
- Colourful and adorable pictures
My ratings:
- Easy to read: 5 out of 5
- Characters: 5 out of 5
- Story idea: 5 out of 5
- Length: 5 out of 5
- Overall: 5 out of 5
